Castles and Heritage
There are examples of human existence in Pembrokeshire from the Stone Ages, Bronze Age and Iron Age right up to recent times. South Pembrokeshire has some fine examples of Norman castles such as Carew Castle and Pembroke Castle where King Henry VII was born. Pembrokeshire also has an interesting religious heritage and prehistoric sites.

Cycling
There are lots of quiet country lanes and few busy roads in Pembrokeshire so it's quite a pleasant place to cycle. There are also some traffic free cycle routes and off road trails.

Fishing
There are loads of sea, coarse and game fishing opportunities in Pembrokeshire: sea fishing from sandy beaches, the rocky coastline or a charter boat; game fishing in Pemrokeshire's rivers and still water fisheries and there are also plenty of coarse fisheries. The local towns have angling shops.
