The river cruises take place on the wooded Cleddau Estuary which is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The landing craft takes a maximum of 12 people and due to its shallow draft, can access the creeks which lead to two good country pubs. (07816 169359) - c/o Newsurf, Newgale, Haverfordwest, SA62 6AS
Own Boat?
If you bring your own boat to explore the beautiful coastline, there is a beach slipway at Freshwater Bay. Sit-on-top kayaks have become a popular way to explore caves and coves but care needs to be given to nesting birds and sea conditions. More information is in the Boating in Pembrokeshire topic.
