The holiday properties in Freshwater Bay Holiday Village provide reasonably priced accommodation very close to Freshwater East Beach. They are comfortable two and three bedroom properties for up to 6 people. Available all year round, they are very popular with couples, families and international visitors.

The holiday cottage in Stackpole has four bedrooms, sleeps up to 8 people and is a more up market property.  Stackpole is a sought after place to stay because it is the closest village to Barafundle Bay. Freshwater Bay Holiday Village is a holiday park of two storey holiday homes arranged in short terraces in landscaped grounds. Although built in the 1970’s, several have recently been given a make over with colourful cladding and pitched roofs.

The holiday village is located just 250 metres from Freshwater East Beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It is in the village of Freshwater East, 4 miles south of Pembroke and 10 miles west of Tenby.  It is also in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

It is a great base for exploring Pembrokeshire and the National Park. It is only a 5 minute stroll to Freshwater East Beach although a car is advisable if you wish to explore further afield.

Freshwater Bay Holiday Village is also known as Trewent Park. The postal address is ‘Trewent Park’, Freshwater East, Pembroke, SA71 5LW

Freshwater Bay has a sandy crescent shaped beach and is popular for swimming and water sports. The dunes and woodland adjoining the beach form the Freshwater East Local Nature Reserve. There are pleasant walks though the Freshwater East Nature Reserve with lots of wild flowers in Spring and Summer.

The Longhouse is a bar/cafe/shop facility at the front of Freshwater Bay Holiday Village with seasonal opening hours. The Longhouse also puts on events and offers diving, mountain bike, kayak, stand-up-paddle board and wet suit hire.

Barafundle Bay

Stackpole Village is 3 miles along the coast from Freshwater East. It is a pretty little village with an award winning gastro pub – The Stackpole Inn. Stackpole adjoins National Trust woodland and it is approximately a half hour walk from Stackpole to Barafundle Bay – a very special place which is often listed as one of the top 10 beaches in the world.

There are also walks from Stackpole to Bosherston Lily Ponds and Broadhaven – another stunning beach.

The area is very popular for outdoor activities such as walking, surfing, fishing, climbing and kayaking.
